I wrote a story about Buffalo hunting on Melville Is Northern Australia on AA. There are two basic things you need to know (amongst many others) that is, dont hit too far back and low. The other is we found once they see you, you will never get a side on shot they just stand there front on and the Mexican stand off begins. They will then either start walking in on you giving you the evil eye and stamping their hooves, threatening to charge. Or they will turn tail and run, either way you dont get a shot. stalking in on a unwary beast will give you the best possible opportunity. As i said before the grizzly BH wont let you down, but use whatever you are comfortable with Our guide gave the advice to always make sure there are two trees nearby. Why two i asked, well what are you going to climb if there is only one. lol.

After some first hand exposure to Havalon Knives while on my bowhunt in Hawaii, That was the second purchase I made when I got back (right after the Cutthroat broadheads.) I picked up 3 dozen blades to begin with. The Cutthroat broadheads come sharp but not shaving sharp. I knew this when I bought them. In fact, they website clearly stated the following: "These broadheads are ground to a burr. You will need to finish sharpening them before they are hunt ready. You can jump right to your fine stones or whatever method you use to finish your sharpening." Thankfully I created the Stay Sharp Broadhead sharpening guide so I could take these heads to the next level and get them hair popping sharp with ease. Right out of the package. My Stay sharp and a few grits to sharpen and then polish the edge. A mirror finish. A brief video showing just how sharp I got them. Next up is putting them into my broadhead target out to 60 yards.

I like how clear you can see the target and arrow hit the target unlike most bow attached camera style ones.
