I always strive for a head shot (Behind the ear) to dispatch them ASAP.

this post made me giggle...good shooting again, I always have problems getting pellet guns sighted in, not much for me to shoot in the yard in phoenix though anyway. Smoked a few pigeons and rabbits with my bow though

We brown them in a cast iron skillet with honest to God lard (no butter or veg oil) Then they go in a roaster with chicken stock and cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup where they cook for a few hours until the meat falls off the bone.

Bought my first pellet gun in late Sept. Since then. This is hilarious, made me get a morning LOL...my buddies and I have an outfitter tent we all share and we have talked about doing a similar thing, find a stencil of each animal, and everytime we hunt with the tent and harvest mark it on the tent.
