Hey Gents, Wanted to throw this out there because I haven't heard or seen this happen to anyone else. My bow is a 2016 Bowtech Prodigy, 29", 70lbs. In February I was out shooting it and I went to draw and it made a bad sound and I lost about half my left off, so I let down and checked the bow over. Found on the bottom cam, the draw module has a peg that fits into the PowerDisc in a corresponding slot that had sheared off and this allowed the disc to slip and change draw stop and left off. I took it into my local shop that I use, they are NOT a bowtech dealer. They called a nearby location they work hand in hand with and talked to them, that bow shop sent over a replacement module and my shop installed it. There was about 10 days between me dropping it off and getting it back. No sweat. Took it out after getting it back, shot it about 30 times. Bam, same thing happens again. I called my shop back up so we were on the same page, we both agreed I should call Bowtech so I do. Rep says I have to take it to a Bowtech Authorized shop and have them replace the module again. So, I take it to a nearby shop Bowtech told me to go. A shop I used to frequent in the past but stopped using. I explain what is going on and they have replaced the module again. I understand Bowtechs position trying to make sure it was done right, but it isn't a difficult fix. It is simply replacing a draw mod and it pretty much cannot be done incorrectly. My concern is how many times do I need to keep being the guinea pig and testing it out for them. I have noticed both times it happened previously, first time was obvious something broke, second time I just heard a small click (like adjusting a gun turret) and the piece happened to ricochet off the bow, so I figured that is what happened again. I don't want it to sheer off and maybe I don't catch it come to full draw and that sucker locks up on me. I don't want to be out on a hunt and it breaks again either. I explained this to Bowtech but to no avail. Anyway, that is where I am at with it now. It was completed yesterday at the second shop so I will run in there and see what they have to say and go from there. Attachments:

He loves the adjustability, but I told him there are too many parts , which means more things can go wrong. Im sorry for your troubles, but I cant wait to show him your post........LOL I hope you have better luck with this last fix.....

They changed it for a reason this year with the reign. Those mods were always an issue with the tabs breaking off even before the powerdisc. Make sure those mod screws are tight and loctite the screws

Got the bow back and shooting finally. No charge again from Bowtech or the shop so that was great. Looks like this time they took the allen screws and moved them so they are both in the same section of the cam one on either side of the peg and added another to the other section. So 3 screws instead of 2 now. Have only shot about 100 times but seems to be holding up for now though.

Talked about it with my buddies, not sure I can do it in good conscience though. Need some more time behind it to make sure its good. Plus on top of that one of my buddies Obsession's just cracked a limb on draw back to so they are all going bad right now . Might have to go back to shooting Hoyt

That's not good. But if Bowtech is used as an example, that means Obsession has a bright future!! LOL
