Thought I would start a new thread on new things anyone has tried this yr. For me the list is as follows.
EZV sight tried it , love it, my choice for a sight until something better comes along.
Bohing heat vanes, not so good, put a lot of time in using them, finally gave up and went back to blazers.
This yrs. newest scott hook release, this one made it about 2 hrs. took it back to cabalas, too bulky, too heavy, amoung other dislikes. Staying with my scott rino xl which unfortunately is discontinued. I found a left over new one at one of the shops here so I'm good.
Bow quiver, played around with some new ones, staying with my bowtech octane quiver, one of the lightest ones I've found, made some mods to the mounting system to get it closer to the bow and farther back for a better balance. Fits almost as tight as a tite spot and a lot lighter.

Loving these things. They are Tough and steer my exodus perfectly at long distance. Took a little research on adhering them but now they are sticking like sh!t to a blanket. Also my carter nock2 it. Super crisp trigger. Great product. My axcel accustat is working good but it will have to prove itself in the bush to the stamp of approval. Also giving this guy a whirl. I was going to get a higher end knife but I don't like the idea of leaving $300 or more bucks in the bush. This was I can carry the knife and 6 blades for $40. With any luck I'll test it out on a moose this fall.

I thought the Rhino had a lighter trigger weight than the Silverhorn?.....? I use the spring trigger on mine. I have been through a few of those. I started putting shrink tubing on them and they hold up better.....

I have found just the opposite Stan I shoot the silverhorns using back tension they are so light and smooth with the roller sear the shots break so easy with the silverhorn The Rhino I have to pull my butt off to get the shot to break.

These vanes are holding up really well. These went through my 1/2 rubber backstop with no damage. No wrinkles. Now that I got the vane cleaning glue combo there solid.

Well got it in yesterday had a chance to shoot the Scott Echo in the evening . at first it felt a little clunky compared too the Silver horn and the Rhino XT but after playing with it and getting the tension set up to my likeing it proved to be smoother then the SH. or the Rhino. I will be ordering another one If you like the roller sear on the silverhorn you will most likely like or love the Echo
