I didnt check for vane clearance after getting a bullethole thru paper. I know what you mean though, seems that like might happen, but the cable rod is at 4:30, So IT'S outta the way. If the canes are hitting the shelf or rest, I dunno. All I know is for now I got a bullethole, and I have to enjoy that for a moment ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I doubt you could get a bullet hole if you are having vane/ riser/cable contact. But I was curious if you are going to have to be wary of which vanes you can use. I pretty much just shoot a 3 fletch 2" blazer with a 3* R helical. Should be good

Got a bullethole today, but had to move the rest waaay right. What's weird is the slide rod seemed to have no effect I switched to a limb driven from a qad on my Hoyt last year and ended up with my rest out from the riser further than ever. It shot broadheads well and I chalked it up to my bad shooting form lol. I put new strings on this year and it's shooting down the pipe now. I haven't figured out why yet. I'm thinking my draw length was out with the old strings.

Have you tried a stiffer arrow? That's one thing I need to try. I have hot melt holding the inserts, so I could switch to a lighter insert and see how that goes
